For more than a decade, I’ve written and edited wedding content for national and regional audiences. My work looks beyond the visual details to uncover the relationships, traditions, decisions, and personal histories that make each celebration distinct and, frankly, magical.
From long-form real weddings and expert-led service journalism to fashion, travel, and culturally specific coverage, I turn interviews, questionnaires, imagery, and industry knowledge into polished stories that feel useful, human, and true to the people at their center.
The Knot
105 real weddings for an international audience
As a freelance Real Weddings editor for The Knot Worldwide, I wrote 105 long-form features about celebrations across the United States and around the world.
Working from detailed questionnaires completed by couples and wedding professionals, along with extensive photo galleries, I identified the personal details, traditions, and visual throughlines that could turn each submission into a cohesive story. I occasionally selected imagery, then submitted each completed feature to my editor for review.
After my first few assignments, my drafts routinely required little to no substantive editing—allowing me to produce a high volume of polished, brand-aligned work with consistency and independence.

Inside Weddings
Building stories—and an editorial career—across print, digital, email, and social
I joined Inside Weddings as an editorial assistant and advanced to staff writer while working on an exceptionally lean editorial team. As my responsibilities expanded, I contributed across the quarterly print magazine, website, email newsletters, and social platforms—often moving between long-form storytelling, service journalism, and short-form brand copy within the same week.
For print and digital, I interviewed couples, leading wedding professionals, and celebrity brides and grooms. I wrote 800–1,000-word real wedding features alongside coverage of etiquette, design, registries, honeymoons, fashion, and products. At the height of our digital publishing schedule, I produced six to seven articles each week and ultimately profiled more than 70 real weddings.
I also wrote front-of-book and cover copy, developed newsletters, supported social captions and graphics, worked in InDesign and Photoshop, and helped edit and guide interns. This early-career chapter taught me how every channel can contribute to one cohesive editorial brand—and established the multichannel foundation I continue to build upon today.

An in-depth real-wedding feature telling the story of a 600-guest, three-day Hindu celebration through cultural tradition, fashion, and large-scale event design.
